This one-hour continuing education course introduces nurse practitioners to the core principles of virtual care, including telemedicine terminology, synchronous and asynchronous workflows, professional responsibilities, documentation considerations, and patient safety.
Through practical examples and clinical scenarios, you’ll strengthen your ability to navigate virtual encounters, recognize the limitations of remote assessment, communicate clearly with patients, and determine when in-person or emergency evaluation is necessary.
